Seville: Day Trip to Cordoba, Spain

Today, we took a day trip to Cordoba and the bus we took had screens.

I bought some Doritos so i ate them on the bus. The flavour was Tex-Mex.

When we got there we noticed some orange trees.

We called this the "graveyard of oranges"

In Cordoba, there was also a cool canal.

This is a beautiful alleyway in the old Jewish district of Cordoba.

Next, we went to an old Sephardic Jewish house. I learned that the Jews had to move around a lot because of the Spanish Inquisition. The Spanish Inquisition was a time when the Catholic were forcing people to become Catholic.

These are artefacts in the house.

This is a shofar which is a ram's horn that you blow into.

Some instruments.
This is a calendar which shows the Jewish holidays and their descriptions. I had fun spinning them to match the colors.

After that, we went to a shop that sold paintings and small guitars called rebale de cabasa.

The owner showed us the gourds he used to make the rabale de cabasa out of.

He also had a bird.

After that, around the corner, we saw a statue of Maimonides, an ancient Jewish philosopher and astronomer.

We went to a gift shop and saw a lot of bull fighting gifts.

This is a huge door so they had smaller doors inside the big doors.

This is a bridge in Cordoba.

After that we had lunch. Mommy had some gazpacho. We had tapas, lots of small dishes of food.

For dessert I had a super twister. It had orange, lemon, and strawberry.

After lunch, we went to what was going to be one of the wonders of the world, the mosque at Cordoba.

On the street, I noticed a bracelet that said Victor mama's last name.

In the courtyard of the mosque, there was a small door that I tried to get into, but it was locked.

After waiting 20 minutes, they finally let us in. Turns out that it's not just a mosque, but a working Catholic church, which is right in the middle of the mosque.

The mosque has over 850 arches in it.

We went toward the church part of the mosque, and I took a picture of this huge organ.

This is the church.

This is a tombstone in the church.

These are ancient religious texts.

Another tomb.

Ancient artefacts - a bell.

Outside there was a shop that was closed, but the name was Casa Vicente, which is Victormama's last name.

Back in Seville, we went to eat dinner, and we noticed a table with three heads on it, and it did something really creepy - watch this video!
