Trip to Chandigarh (Part 1) April 19

This is me on the train to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the capital city of two states, Punjab and Harayana. It is north of Delhi.

This is me drawing Captain Underpants and his enemies on the train.

This is me outside Elante Mall in Chandigarh. It is the biggest mall in 5 states in India. It is a one million sq. foot mall. It was right near our hotel.

This is a train riding around in the Elante mall for kids.

These are some cakes in the window of Nik's Bakery

In the mall, there was a bakery called Nik's Bakery where we had lunch.

This is me eating a slice of pizza and a chicken burger in Nik's. It was really good. Guess what? We got a free piece of fruitcake.

Then we went to Sukhna Lake. These are geese at the lake. They were awesome. There were piles of goose food on the side. After you feed them, the geese start running after you because they think you still have food for them.

These are a lot of paddle boats at Sukhna Lake for riding around the lake.

Near the Sukhna Lake, there was a kind of amusement park. One of the rides was a giant balloon wheel floating in water. Kids get inside and spin it like a mouse in his wheel.

This is me on the paddle boat. We went for half an hour and we had to wear life jackets.

Here's another boat with oars instead of pedals. It's blue, which happens to be my favorite color, and it has a top on it.

On the bank, I found some geese food and I started grabbing handfuls and giving it to the geese. They were all squawking.

Afterwards, we went on a nature walk around the lake. We walked all the way around the lake (1 mile) just to get to the beginning of the nature trail. We walked over 2.5 miles in total. I saw this on the way.
This is a tree sapling. It's small and it felt fuzzy.

This is a sign that has a picture of all of the birds on the nature trail. We heard tons of bird sounds, but didn't see any.

After the trail, we went to the Garden of Silence. This is me standing next to Buddha.

On the way out of the Garden of Silence, we saw this little statue of some ancient Hindu Gods under some palm leaves.

We went back to the mall for dinner. Here's some pictures of some of the play places in Elante mall for kids.

This is the best toy store in the world. It's called Hamley's, and has science, board, skill, Legos, and regular toys and games. Here's me playing table soccer with a worker at Hamley's.

For dinner we went to an African-Portuguese restaurant called Nando's Peri-Peri. I had 1/4 chicken with yummy, yummy lemon herb sauce, french fries and corn on the cob. Mommy thought the corn was spicy, but I thought it was awesome!
This is the longest french fry on my plate at Nando's
This is the Apple Store at the mall.

The next morning was Easter, and we ate breakfast at the hotel. I had donuts, watermelon, fresh watermelon juice, two sunny side up eggs, and a bowl of wheat cereal.

For Easter  we went to a church. These are some pictures of the church.
