Girl in Delhi Train Station wearing Hannah Montana Shirt, June 11th |
Me and mommy tried to get a good picture of a girl wearing a Hannah
Montana shirt in the train station, but this is as good as we got in the
Delhi Train station. We were on our way to Ranchi in Jharkhand to visit Aunt Kanti, Little Brother, Big Brother, and Ruchi sister
(Kanti Phua, Chote Bhaiya, Bare Bhaiya, and Ruchi Didi).
|
Me on the overnight train to Ranchi |
It's really nice and cool in Ranchi. I get a lot of stuff I want in a lot of places in India, especially Ranchi cause I have two cousin brothers and one cousin sister who buy me a lot of toys, electronic stuff, food I don't usually get like Coke, Pepsi and chips - things of the unusual.

This is me taking a "bum bum" bath with a bucket. |
|
In India I take bucket baths, and pour water on my head. Pouring water on my head is soooo cold like 40 degrees below zero!
|
This is me and Chote Bhaiyya in the car on the way to Dasam falls |
|
We went to see a waterfall in the forest. You'll see the falls in the next few pictures. It was 144 feet high. It's called Dasam falls. Dasam means 10. It's called Dasam falls because the water falls down from 10 places at the top.

This is a handmade leaf plate |
|
This is a handmade leaf plate made with real leaves. The goat is trying to eat it, that's why daddy's holding it up. People in villages use leaf plates and bowls instead of plastic.
Me holding chips and soda after climbing up the falls. I'm holding it like a bow and arrow

This is a house made by hand by the tribal people near the falls |

Me feeding the goat a local fruit that tasted like a persimmon |
This is a picture of a tree of jackfruits in the forest near the falls. it is a common kind of fruit in India.
|
Me in front of a Sun temple near the falls. |
This is a Surya or sun temple near the falls. There is a big chariot in front of the temple pulled by 7 horses.
